Hello beautiful gray – Not a colour most people would choose as the colour pallet for their home, let alone their children’s rooms. But once you take a peek around this magical swedish house you just might change your mind.
I came across this tranquil abode on a new blog I recently discovered – Emsloo, and I have to admit it’s made me look at gray interiors in a whole new way. Chosen in the right shade gray is flattering to pale woods and earthy tones alike, and makes everything look very calm, not at all cold as you might expect.
The tranquil images of daily life and her children at play are captured by a talented mum who has a keen eye for interiors. I’m loving the ‘Ikea Hack’ shelving in her son Blake’s room – 3 Ikea Billy bookcases screwed together, just rearrange the shelving to the positions you want and cover up the old holes before painting.
I hope once you see these beautiful grey rooms you will be inspired. If so head over to Porters Paints and check out their Natural Browns and Grays for some similar colours.
